Spiritual Director &
Healing Practitioner

Container of Stories, Creative Expression Guide, Garden Keeper, Bird Watcher, Always Noticing Signs of Spirit, Celebrant of Rituals, Inner-work Facilitator

I live and practice in beautiful North Carolina, surrounded by forests and mountains, and my soul is deeply rooted in the blue waters of the Caribbean.

I offer individual & group sessions and facilitate creative workshops online. I also teach which enables me to share my passion for spiritual direction, body-centered spirituality, SoulCollage® and Expressive Writing.

Background

I have been a contemplative from a young age, even before I recognized it as such. I’ve worked in many fields including librarianship, massage therapy, Trager Approach™️, Reiki, and bio-spiritual focusing, the common thread has always been spirituality and creative expression. My passion centers around spirituality and guiding others to explore and develop their own spiritual and creative practice. I lead wellness workshops for using creativity for personal healing, self discovery and deeper connection to the Divine.

Although as a spiritual director I companion women from a wholistic perspective regardless of faith tradition, my spiritual formation has been Christian, grounded in Ignatian spirituality and the writings of mystics. My own contemplative path is inclusive of body, energy, and creative expression.

An important part of what I do is active listening to the stories of those who are examining their life experiences and awakening to Divine Presence in all of life.

Training

After receiving the Certificate in Spiritual Direction and Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, I was trained in the Supervision of Spiritual Directors at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and Mercy Center in Burlingame, California.

I continued my studies in bodywork becoming a Reiki Master, Crystal Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, Trager® Approach Practitioner and BioSpiritual Focusing facilitator.

Along the way, I completed the SoulCollage® Facilitator training in Charlotte, North Carolina, and learned many other healing modalities and creative expression techniques. I completed the Leading Others in Writing for Health at the Duke Integrative Medicine Center in Durham, North Carolina.

I invite you to learn more about my story…

“I feel called to help others explore their unique essence and connection with the Divine by reflecting contemplatively on the stories they share and by facilitating workshops where they can be creative in listening to sacred wisdom.”

—Mayra Casas Hall

“That's the sacred intent of life… to move us continuously toward growth, toward recovering all that is lost and orphaned within us and restoring the divine image imprinted on our soul.”

―Sue Monk Kidd
